Chef Walter Bandt was born in Dallas but moved to Bolivia at a young age. It was there that he fell in love with being in the kitchen with his Aunt Carusa Bandt, who would be the first mentor. These early memories of learning techniques and flavor profiles would light the passion in Chef to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
As years went by Chef Walter has competed in culinary competitions all over the world, and has been featured in a variety of publications ranging from magazines to culinary shows. He looks forward to sharing with you his love of preparing South American fusion styled cuisine. The Bartonville Store has now become home.

From toddlerhood, Missy watched as Chef Michael put his heart and soul into every event, and guest that crossed his path. That passion clearly left an impression and inspired Missy to follow in her father’s footsteps. Her dedication to executing her client’s vision and her commitment to excellence have resulted in the kinds of relationships that are at the heart and soul of The Bartonville Store.
